Throw off your corsets, here comes the Arch Druid!

Big State Theatre take comic imagination and multi-character style back to the repression of Victorian times, and unleash a unique and amazing individual.

The Fire Starter is a gloriously irreverent romp through the extraordinary nineteenth century life of the Welsh Arch Druid and Doctor, the cremation crazy Dr William Price.

Living as a pagan, Price lived in sin, had children out of wedlock, played his flute naked and shocked the Victorians by bucking the burial trend and cremating his dead relatives.

This hilarious comedy features over 25 characters including a sheep, a parrot, a spectacularly incompetent vicar, rampant twins and the lovesick Smelly Gwennie, all performed by three stunningly versatile actors.

If you enjoy extraordinary stories, hilarious comedy and ingenious presentation you will love Big State.
