The Diary of Anne Frank charts the incredible story of a young Jewish girl who, along with her family and some friends, lived in hiding from the Nazis for two years during the Second World War. Hidden in a secret attic above her father’s office, Anne’s only source of pleasure was to record her thoughts, fears and aspirations in a diary.

Published originally in 1952, the diary has since been translated into 67 languages and is one of the most widely read books in the world today. It was first produced as a play on Broadway in 1955 and went on to win every major theatre award around.
