Outdoor Shakespeare: The Merry Wives of Windsor

The scheming rogue knight Falstaff intends to woo two married women to get his porky hands on their husbands money, but the wiley Wives of Windsor are more than a match for him. The Festival Players Theatre Company brings you this hilarious and colourful Shakespeare comedy in an all-male, fast paced, costumed production, a summer feast of farce.

Our Annual Shakespeare open-air performance starts at 7.30pm and there will be prosecco,food and other refreshments available to enjoy. Taking place in the beautifully relaxed grounds of Lampeter House, the estate has hosted events for almost 15 years. Arrive early to enjoy the stunning gardens with a drink from 6pm. Alternative indoor seating area in case of bad weather however the outlook is good!

Did you know that Astronauts get taller in space? That our solar system is around 4.6 billion years old? Or that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on all of the beaches on earth?

Amira knows all of these things. She is completely obsessed with space and dreams of becoming an Astronaut. But one night, the bangs,whooses and fizzes of her imagination explode right out of her dreams, becoming a deafening reality. In the darkness , Amira must leave her hometown to go on an adventure, to find a safe space. Hearing the words `space` and `adventure`. Amira quickly packs her bag for the intergalactic trip she's been waiting for…..

The Unknown Soldier

Jack stayed on when the guns fells silent, to search the battlefiels for the boys that could not go home- for the dead and the missing, for both enemy and friend and amongst the rusty wire and unexploded bombs. Jack is looking for something- looking for someone. He has a promise to keep and debt to repay, and now there is this strange request from the generals.

A story of comradship, betrayal and of promises both broken and kept following the carnage of world war one. Sucessfully debuted at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015 and shortlisted for the Brighton Fringe Award.
