Mission Gallery Prize Winners

Mission Gallery is proud to announce the winners of two prizes the gallery has recently awarded; the Mission Open 08 and the Mission Prize for BA Fine Art Degree students @ Swansea Metropolitan University.

Both prize winners reflect Mission Gallery’s continuing support of young emerging talent.

Mission Open 08
Winner: Tom Pope

Tom Pope is originally from Bristol and has just completed the BA Photography degree course at Swansea Metropolitan University.

He has graduated with a First Class degree. His work ‘Willsbridge’ attached, is part of a series of images titled ‘Over the Edge’

Mission Prize for BA Fine Art Degree students @ Swansea Metropolitan University
Winner: Paul Rees

Paul Rees is based in Neath and has just completed the Fine Art degree course at Swansea Metropolitan University.

His video performance ‘Glass Menagerie’ and painting triptych, were chosen as the winner of this prize.
