Following previous productions The Wind In The Willows and the hugely successful Thoroughly Modern Millie, Merlin Youth Theatre present Fame The Musical at Carmarthen’s Lyric, 10 – 13 September.

Guaranteed to have the audience dancing in the aisles – and probably high-jumping their way home, Fame The Musical is an up-beat, sassy and fun production which follows the fortunes of a group of talented students with lofty ambitions from the New York High School Of Performing Arts.

Based on Alan Parker’s award-winning film and the long-running 1980s TV series, Fame The Musical will no-doubt showcase the talents of the cast as their characters find out that “Fame costs and right here is where they start paying!” Pure dynamite with that feel-good factor, if you only see one musical this year, make sure it’s Fame!
