Ever wondered how the giraffe got its long neck, was it because it had smelly feet?

How the leopard got its spots or how the elephant got its trunk?

Join two intrepid explorers on a fantastic adventure, as they cross the open seas and discoverhow the elephant, leopards and other animals came to be… Imagine the creatures that might have existed if things had been just a little bit different… and how certain others came not to be (like the incredible duck-billed octopus).

And finally, find out the secret behind the giraffe’s neck…

Stories, science and a splash of silliness combine in this exciting new show for everyone aged 4 and up.

How the Giraffe got its Neck is part of Darwin 200, a national programme celebrating Charles Darwin’s life, his ideas and their impact around his two hundredth anniversary.
