This exhibition focuses on the work of a small selection of women artists from the collections of Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales. At its core the exhibition focuses on representations of women by women artists in the form of portraits, or self portraits.
In more recent works, such as Snow White by Berni Searle, the exhibition touches on the ways in which contemporary women artists use their own image in their work to make social and/or political comment on the world around them. This exhibition will include both historical and contemporary artists.
