With flowers as a central theme, the exhibition "Botanica 2" features porcelain and paintings by Elaine Hind and Helen Lush. Elaine Hind uses flowers such as echinacea, rudbeckia and sunflowers both in bloom and as seed heads to develop her ideas into vessels, lamps and sculptures.

Surfaces are built up with glass "seeds", gold lustre and enamels to reflect the rich colour and textures found in old gardens. Often isolating a single flower head and setting it against intense colour, Helen Lush works in pastel, watercolour and pencil drawing on her fascination with the form, texture and colour found in the plant world. Some paintings use her Garden Design plans as decorative texture behind the plant forms.
