Dylan Thomas produced a work of enduring brilliance with his play for voices ’Under Milk Wood’.  Richard Burton added to the legacy with a classic recording that resonates even today.  Now, Independent Ballet Wales invites you to listen in on the innermost thoughts and dreams of the people of Llareggub.

Interpreting in dance, ballet and innovative physical theatre the classic play with all its dark humour, vivid characters and visionary language.  Enter the bible black village and swim in the fishing boat bobbing sea.  Independent Ballet Wales are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet.  Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature.
