Robert Vaughan a'i Lyfrgell

To mark 350 years since the death of antiquarian Robert Vaughan (1591/2–1667) of Hengwrt, the Library’s Curator of Manuscripts evaluates the life and work of one of the nation’s leading benefactors. Vaughan’s priceless manuscripts form the basis of the Peniarth collection, now recognized by UNESCO as one of international importance. There will be an opportunity during the day to view a small exhibition of relevant manuscripts in the company of the Curator.

*** Event held in Welsh with simultaneous translation. ***
