This non-athletic event sees local teams of friends, family, neighbours and colleagues walk around a track for 24 hours. Each team tries to keep at least one member on the track at all times, whilst all around them the party is in full swing. We can’t think of a better and more fun way of raising money for this wonderful cause than Relay for Life and we really hope that you can be a part of it.

Entertainment and activities
Relay For Life is also a time for celebration! So throughout the whole event we will have a variety of entertainment for you. There will be some very special guests, bands, live performance, and plenty of other activities for children young and old! So let’s put the ’Fun’ in Fundraising!

Survivors lap of honour
Out of everyone attending Relay for Life, the cancer survivors are the most important. The opening lap will honour their courage and pay tribute to those who have fought cancer, to those who continue to fight, and to those who sadly lost their fight but will never be forgotten.

Candle of Hope
As the evening draws in, everyone gathers to light Candles of Hope and pay tribute to those whose lives have been affected by cancer. Bags are decorated and filled with a glowing candle. When the candles are lit, poignant messages of remembrance and celebration illuminate the track.
