From long before Balaclava Ned to the war in Iraq, Wrexham people have served in the armed forces. This exhibition will include over a hundred years of military memorabilia from the museum collections and stories about the daring dos of Wrexham’s many wartime heroes.

After many years of unavailability in the UK, this powerful, often extremely gruelling film based on the life of Phoolan Devi gets a welcome re-release – with an added poignancy following her assassination in 2001.
…the truth behind the myth. An exhibition curated by Michael Freeman, curator, based on his ongoing research into the subject. It will show Welsh costume as it really was, not as the romantic cliché ridden stuff of Victorian postcards.

This group show provides an opportunity for all the artists the gallery represents to exhibit their latest work. It is a rotating show so new work will be brought in throughout the summer. As well as paintings there will be graphics, sculpture, stained glass, and Welsh pottery on display.
