Burlesque as a tradition of bawdy entertainment dates right back to the 1840s when its dances and sketches were used to lampoon the upper classes of the time. The art form evolved so that by the 1930s, the main component was glamourous, sexually provocative female dancing. Which is what’s expected of A Dubious Moral Compass.
Featuring the Cardiff Burlesque dancers, the acclaimed, alluring Miss Violet Noir, naughty poetry from the award-winning Miss Mabs Jones and heaps of naughtiness from hostess, the very lovely Miss Foo Foo La Belle, A Dubious Moral Compass will be an evening of fun and frolics for all.
