So you’ve seen Strictly Come Dancing and always wanted to try your hand – or rather put your best foot forward – on the dance floor? Allow Argentinian Tango luminaries Aisha and Victor to show you the way with a demonstration and introductory class of the visually sensual and seductive Argentinean Tango at Carmarthen’s Lyric, 4 September, with a workshop at Ammanford Miners’ Theatre 6 September.

Argentinian Tango is much more than a dance, more than music, more than the lyrics. Tango perceives the world from the point of view of male and female fusion, in their defined roles, with an absolute respect to their individual identity. With their world-wide experience both performing and teaching Argentinian Tango, Buenos Aires’ striking and hugely charismatic Aisha and Victor have come to South Wales to show how it’s done! Their dancing style, ideas and teaching concentrate on demonstrating how Argentinian Tango can be danced whatever the ability level - whether you’ve danced before or are an absolute beginner! This is one of the reasons why Argentinian Tango is so special.
