Paradisii Theatre Company will perform the 1977 classic comedy Abigail’s Party at The Dragon Theatre, Barmouth on Saturday August 16th. 2008.
Abigail’s Party is a sharply wicked social satire on lower-middle-class suburbia. Beverly is a formidable hostess entertaining new neighbours.
The evening’s initial good-will, clichés and fatuous small-talk only serve to create a rising tension which finally snaps with a dramatic denouement.
