Sinfonia Cymru begins its 2008/09 chamber series with masterpieces by Mendelssohn and Shubert. Continuing the orchestra’s tradition of providing a platform for the most promising young international solo artists, Jiafeng Chen, 2nd Prize winner of the prestigious Menuhin Comeptition in Cardiff 2008, joins the orchestra for a performance of Mendelssohn’s violin concerto.
