The Morriston Orpheus Choir Supporters’ Association (MOCSA) organises the Young Welsh Singer of the Year Competition, the Final of which takes place each September in the Brangwyn Hall. Previous finalists include Bryn Terfel, Rebecca Evans, Jason Howard and Katherine Jenkins. The Competition has acted as a springboard to their future careers as opera stars.
