When writing meets business meets opera - creative sparks will fly.
If you spend your days in business, and your evenings at the opera, why not combine business with pleasure and attend a course designed for people working in business who need to write effectively and communicate powerfully?
’Writing for Business: From Page to Stage’ combines the principles of business with the techniques of performing opera to explore and develop creative storytelling and presentation skills, providing a unique way to give individuals and businesses a competitive advantage.
The course combines the talents of tutors (John Simmons, Stuart Delves, Jamie Jauncey) from the acclaimed creative business writing programme, Dark Angels, with leading figures from Welsh National Opera – and comes in two acts, in two inspirational settings, separated by a few weeks.
You’ll spend three days at T? Newydd National Writers’ Centre – tucked away in Snowdonia and standing in its own landscaped gardens overlooking Cardigan Bay, T? Newydd provides a welcome retreat to anyone working a 40-hour week – and a further day will be spent making use of the rehearsal rooms and performance spaces of Welsh National Opera – at our home in Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff – inspiring you to new levels of personal influence achieved through words.
…and that’s just the beginning of the story. For further details, visit www.dark-angels.org.uk/pagestage.htm or contact Beth-Marie Norbury (Development Manager, WNO Creative) on 029 2063 5043 / beth-marie.norbury@wno.org.uk
