This script held performance tells the moving story of two friends Ivor and Brian. Covering the years between 1970 - 2002, the story is about the effect the Falklands war has on their friendship and covers events surrounding the Miners strike.
The play has resonance today as soldiers respond to the atrocities in Afghanistan. As we approach a general election this year, it is a reminder of the decisions made by the previous Conservative government and the chilling legacy still faced by families today. Writer Gwenno Dafydd has been researching her play with the assistance of former British Army solider Simon Weston who will be coming along to see the performance.
